There are several “quick fix” skin rejuvenation methods on the market, but if you’d rather improve the appearance of your skin gradually over time for a more natural, longer-lasting results, Sculptra Aesthetic® may be the solution for you. At Skin Boutique, we offer this safe and effective option along with our other rejuvenating injectables.
The disadvantages to Sculptra® aesthetic include the treatment price and the results are not immediate. If you want to look good by the weekend, we recommend a hyaluronic acid product, but if you have sunken temples, hollow upper or lower cheeks, a sagging jawline, or deep nasolabial folds, Sculptra® may just be your non-surgical alternative you have been looking for.

What is Sculptra Aesthetic®?
Sculptra Aesthetic is different than dermal fillers because it gradually and subtly corrects facial wrinkles and volume loss over time by stimulating your very own collagen production and providing a new foundation for your skin. Sculptra Aesthetic® is formulated with poly-L-lactic acid to help replace collagen, the protein in the skin responsible for structure and strength. Sculptra Aesthetic® works in the deeper dermis to reinforce collagen structure that target visible signs of aging at the source.
Is Sculptra Aesthetic® Safe?
Poly-L-lactic acid is a biocompatible and biodegradable formulation that is easily recognized and processed by the body. It has been used in the medical industry for over 30 years in dissolvable stitches, and has been approved for use as a facial injectable since 1999. Additionally, Sculptra Aesthetic® requires no testing prior to treatment and contains no animal or bacterial components, making it one of the most compatible injectables to restore lost facial volume on the cosmetic market today.
Slight bruising, redness, and swelling is typical at injection sites but should subside within a day or two. During your consultation, our aesthetic medical team will assess your health and medical history and inform you of any other possible risks that may apply to you.
How Many Sculptra Aesthetic® Sessions Will I Need?
Typically, three treatment sessions with Sculptra Aesthetic® with two or more vials at each session are recommended over a period of a few months in order to achieve optimal results, but during your initial appointment with our aesthetic medical team, we will help you determine the best course of treatment for your individual condition.
